Currently, Arab immigrants, and immigrants at large, face a variety of issues due to our broken immigration system. Our existing immigration system lacks many safeguards for family unity, civil liberties and human rights, practical enforcement, and worker protections. The National Network for Arab American Communities strongly believes in the need for comprehensive immigration reform that is just and humane. In particular, we seek an immigration system that encompasses the following values:
- Reunification of Families
- Protection of Civil Liberties and Human Rights
- Effective Enforcement
- Worker Protections

Furthermore, the Arab American community has been impacted by increased and heavy handed immigration enforcement policies within the last ten years. NNAAC believes the time has come to restore American values of due process and justice to our immigration enforcement policies. In particular, NNAAC has the following recommendations:
- Reverse the Criminalization of Immigration Enforcement
- Restore Due Process Rights
- Limit Local Enforcement of Immigration Law
- Limit Reliance on Federal Databases Until Their Accuracy is Verified
