
From July 29th to August 2nd, selected American university students will travel to the Galilee and participate in a historically unique and unprecedented program that promotes dialogue and understanding between Arab university students and their American counterparts. Program participants, situated in a land of unparalleled historical and cultural significance, will experience first hand the places, people and traditions that inflame passions the world over.
The program will include:
- Cultural excursions and visits to sites of great significance to the Abrahamic religions, such as Jerusalem, Nazareth, Haifa, Tiberias and Akka
- Daily Arabic classes
- Dialogue sessions with Arab university students
- Town hall meetings and discussions with local leaders in the fields of education, religion, business, politics and culture
- Homestays with Arab families
Program Cost
The cost for the 2012 “My Galilee” Program is $2,500 plus international travel, and includes:
- All domestic transportation
- Three daily meals
- Accommodation expenses
- An insurance package
- Entertainment
Students will be responsible for personal spending expenses. Successful applicants will be required to attend a pre-departure orientation in New York.

We are now accepting applications for our 2012 ‘My Galilee’ Leadership Program, which will take place from July 29th- August 12th. Below please find the required forms along with an application check list and fact sheet. All forms below must be completed and sent in one email to info@amln.org.
